ADMISSION
It requires students from the following fields:
Masonry, Wood work, Electricity, Motor mechanics,
Sanitary installations, Management, Clothing industry, social and home economics.
Certificates accepted are:
CAP, BEPC, BET, Probatoire and Baccalaureat. Cadidates should not be more than 32 years old on the year of the exams.
The certificate awarded at the end is the CAPIET. Admission is through a competitive exam.

IT and TS cycle:

This institute trains students in two stages;

GROUP A; direct recruitment
This department concerns the sub-lieutenants who must be holders of the BAC or GCE A/L and must have validated at least one year in any higher institute. This training takes three years.
GROUP B; trains Officers and candidates should be holders of the BAC or GCE A/L or equivalent certificates and five years experience of effective service. The training last for two years.
GROUP C; for degree holders. This training last for three years after which the students come out as lieutenants or sous-lieutenants.

These centers train veterinary nurses and livestock technicians. Training is done in three cycles of two years each.
